Peter Wild - Managing Director and founder of G. P. Wild (International) Limited provides the direction and driving force for the Company's consultancy projects. Peter holds a BSc degree with honours in Maritime Studies from the University of Wales. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Member of the Nautical Institute, a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights and a Freeman of the City of London.
John Dearing Director is an expert in marketing, market analysis and business planning especially in relation to the shipbuilding and shipping industries. He is a graduate from the University of York and holds a post graduate qualification in Education from the University of Wales. John's special interests include the management of change, problem solving, the development of marketing strategies, business planning and market analysis. He is also widely travelled and he has produced a number of authoritative publications in the maritime field.
John Turgoose qualified as a chartered Accountant and has spent 21 years in the U.K. ports industry in roles from finance to the creation, justification, marketing and operation of major multi-million pound projects, such as the two Dover cruise terminals, ferry berths, a cargo terminal, a marina and an aggregate berth.
Jim Evans began his career in 1966 as an engineer officer in the merchant navy. He saw service on tankers and refrigerated and dry cargo ships sailing worldwide. He offers broad based expertise, which includes risk assessment and the management of risk, destination and port assessment, planning, business and market development. He is recognised by the cruise industry as having wide-ranging experience of the operational management and cost structures of the industry.
Sue McKinney holds a BA degree with joint honours in Economics and Economic and Social History from the University of York. Along with her commercial experience she has also attended courses at the Cranfield School of Management and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Over the last 25 years she has worked extensively with blue chip organisations in a variety of management and marketing roles. She brings her market research, analysis and writing skills to GP Wild (International)Ltd writing and editing many of its publications as well as bringing her marketing expertise to the wider business.
Susan Parker - Susan is an experienced journalist and has been writing about the maritime industry for almost 20 years. Following a postgraduate course in periodical journalism at the London College of Printing, she did a 6 month stint subbing on publishing giant's Reed Elsevier's Flight International prior to joining The Motor Ship as technical journalist. Moving on to Informa, Susan progressed to become deputy editor at Lloyd's Ship Manager and soon took on the role of editor of Lloyd's Cruise International which she developed into a well-respected and informative title.
